Branch, 24, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Robert Morris back in 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to Atlanta’s practice squad.
The Falcons brought Branch back on a futures contract last year, but he was once again among their roster cuts at the start of the regular season.
During the preseason, Branch recorded four tackles and no interceptions.
