Steelers Signing DT Dan McCullers To Practice Squad

According to Terez Paylor, the Steelers are signing DT Daniel McCullers to the practice squad.

McCullers was a somewhat surprising cut given Pittsburgh’s lack of depth at nose tackle but it looks like he’ll end up sticking around.

McCullers, 28, is a former sixth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2014. He played out his four-year, $2,298,680 contract with the Steelers before returning to Pittsburgh in 2018 on a one-year agreement.

McCullers was once again testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent when he signed a two-year, $2.75 million deal with the Steelers.

In 2019, McCullers appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and recorded eight total tackles, no sacks and one pass defense.
