The Houston Texans have claimed DL Albert Huggins off of waivers from the Eagles on Monday, according to Aaron Reiss.
Huggins, 23, signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson following the 2019 NFL Draft. He was waived by Houston coming out of the preseason and re-signed to the practice squad.
The Eagles signed Huggins off of Houston’s practice squad before waiving him in November. Huggins was briefly signed by the Patriots, but later returned to the Eagles a month later.
Philadelphia waived Huggins this past weekend.
In 2019, Huggins appeared in four games for the Eagles and recorded three total tackles.
