Other Roster Moves:
- Texans placed QB Joe Webb on injured reserve
Ponder, 24, signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2019 out of St. Francis University. Cleveland released him a few weeks ago and he signed on with the Steelers soon after.
Pittsburgh waived Ponder a few weeks ago and he caught on in Houston.
During his senior season, Ponder recorded 25 total tackles, one interception and 15 pass defenses in 11 games.
