Texans LB Dylan Cole Out For Season With Torn ACL

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that Texans LB Dylan Cole has been diagnosed with a torn ACL.

This will obviously end Cole’s 2019 season and lead to him being placed on injured reserve in the coming days.

Cole, 25, signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri State back in 2017. He is in the final year of a three-year, $1.66 million contract and is set to earn a base salary of $645,000 this season.

Cole is in line to be a restricted free agent in 2020.

In 2019, Cole has appeared in 11 games for the Texans and recorded 15 tackles, a fumble recovery and a pass defense.
