Texans Release Matt Leinart

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Texans have released QB Matt Leinart.

Leinart was set to makeĀ $1.75 million next season but John McClain of the Houston Chronicle tweets that Texans will move forward with Matt Schaub and T.J. Yates, not Peyton Manning.

It’s hard to say if there’s going to be a market for his services considering that only a few teams were interested following his release from the Cardinals.

  1. Hope he gets a chance somewhere, like Seattle, Cleveland, or Miami (pretty much wherever Flynn & Manning don’t go). Really want to see him redeem himself.
