John McClain of the Houston Chronicle has confirmed that the Houston Texans are currently discussing a trade for WR Jacoby Jones “if they believe they can get a good deal.”
Jones, 28, is set to make $3 million for the upcoming season and considering that they just drafted DeVeir Posey from Ohio State, Jones figures to be on the outs if they’re able to strike a deal with someone. If not, there’s still a chance that he could come back as the team’s number-three wide receiver next season. The current asking price for him figures to be a 4th – 6th round pick, but I’m leaning towards the latter.
