Texans Signing Patriots CB Johnson Bademosi To Two-Year, $6.25M Deal

According to Adam Schefter, the Texans have reached agreement with Patriots CB Johnson Bademosi on a two-year, $6.25 million contract.

Bademosi, 27, signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2012. He has managed to make their 53-man roster in each of his first three years in the NFL and was brought back on a one-year restricted deal.

The Lions later signed him to a two-year contract in 2016 before trading him to the Patriots for a 2019 sixth-round pick last September.

Bademosi played out the final year of a two-year, $4.5 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2017, Bademosi appeared in all 16 games for the Patriots and recorded 29 tackles, no interceptions and one pass defense.
