Texans Signing QB/WR B.J. Daniels Off Seahawks’ Practice Squad

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans are signing QB/WR B.J. Daniels off of the Seahawks’ practice squad.

This comes after the Texans lost T.J. Yates for the season to a torn ACL.

Daniels, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He lasted less than a year in San Francisco before he was waived and later claimed by the Seahawks.

Daniels was able to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but has been on and off the team’s roster since then.

This season, Daniels has appeared in four games and record one catch for 12 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
