Texans Targeting An OLB Over A WR In The 1st Rd?

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle believes that the Houston Texans will not be taking a wide receiver in the first-round of the upcoming draft and instead sees them targeting an outside linebacker to play across from Brooks Reed.

McClain mentions that they’ll most likely grab a receiver in the second-round instead.

Mario Williams appears to be on his way out of Houston barring a dramatic turn of events so adding some addition talent could prevent teams from keying in on Reed next season. Few teams can even come close to the Texans defensive front seven but they’ll still have to add some pieces to ensure that it stays one of the leagues best d-lines.
