Texans Waive DE Matthew Godin From PUP List

The Houston Texans announced Tuesday that they’ve officially waived DE Matthew Godin from the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.

Godin, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan last year. He was waived with an injury designation at the start of the regular season and later reverted to their injured reserve list where he remained for the duration of the 2017 season.

The Texans waived Godin with another injury designation and he reverted to their PUP list.

Godin has yet to appear in an NFL game.
