Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk published a list of who’s believed to be in the lead for 5 of the available general manager positions.
According to Florio:
- 49ers’ executive Tom Gamble is currently the favorite for the Jets job.
- Falcons’ director of player personnel Dave Caldwell is currently the favorite for the Jaguars job.
- Packers’ director of operations John Dorsey is currently the favorite for the Chiefs job.
- The Cardinals are expected to promote Steve Keim from within.
- The Panthers are reportedly considering Giants executive Dave Gettleman over fellow Giants exec Marc Ross and interim GM Brandon Beane.
Florio adds that this is simply “where it all is leaning” as of now. It’s safe to suggest that things could change in the coming days, but at least you should have an idea of the likely outcomes.
