Titans DC Dean Pees Returning For Monday’s Game After Being Hospitalized Last Week

Adam Schefter reports that Titans defensive coordinator Dean Pees will coach in Monday night’s game against the Texans after being hospitalized during last week’s game.

Pees underwent a series of tests last week for an undisclosed medical condition that all came back positive. He later re-joined the team.

Pees, 68, began his NFL coaching career with the Patriots back in 2004 as their linebackers coach. He worked his way up to defensive coordinator before joining the Ravens in 2010.

Baltimore promoted him to their defensive coordinator in 2012 and he remained in charge of their defense for six seasons. The Titans hired Pees as their defensive coordinator this past January.

In 2018, the Titans’ defense is No. 10 in yards allowed, No. 2 in points allowed, No. 8 in rushings yards allowed and No. 10 in yards allowed.
