Titans DC Dean Pees Gets Good News After Being Taken To Hospital For Medical Issue

Update:

Titans HC Mike Vrabel told reporters (per Jim Wyatt) on Monday that tests on DC Dean Pees came back positive and he’s expected to return from Indianapolis on Monday.

Vrabel added that he expects Pees to get back to full speed eventually, per Terry McCormick.

Pees apparently wanted to rejoin the team on Monday, but he was told to take the day off.

The good news for Pees is that everything serious has been ruled out by a neurologist, according to Vrabel.

Titans HC Mike Vrabel said after the game that DC Dean Pees is doing okay and will stay in the hospital overnight for further evaluation.

According to Vrabel, everything he’s heard regarding Pees has been “very positive” in terms of him making a full recovery.

The Tennessee Titans announced that DC Dean Pees has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation after experiencing medical issues during Sunday’s game.

Here’s the statement from the team:

“Titans Defensive Coordinator Dean Pees was experiencing a medical issue during the game. He was tended to by medical personnel and was transported to a local hospital for further observation.”

We’ve seen a few NFL coaches experience medical issues during games the past few years.

This is obviously a concerning situation for Pees and the Titans and we’re hoping everything checks out for him and he’s able to return to the team in the near future.

We’ll have more regarding Pees as the news is available.
