Titans Discussing New Contract With TE Craig Stevens

John Glennon of the Tennessean reports that the Titans and TE Craig Stevens are discussing a new contract.

Stevens, 31, is a former third-round pick of the Titans back in 2008. After playing out his rookie contract, Stevens returned to the team on a four-year contract.

He’s now in position to be an unrestricted free agent in the coming months, and is considered one of the better blocking tight ends in the NFL.

In 2015, Stevens appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and recorded 12 receptions for 121 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 5 tight end out of 73 qualifying players.
