Seahawks Have Moved On Without Hasselbeck?

Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reports that the Seattle Seahawks will be not re-signing QB Matt Hasselbeck.

You can expect the Seahawks to be active in trade talks for Kevin Kolb and Kyle Orton.

NFL Network’s Mike Lombardi reports that the Tennessee Titans are prepared to make a huge contract offer to Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck.

If the Titans are really going to throw a tone of money at Hasselbeck it makes you wonder what their strategy for developing Jake Locker is. Maybe they plan on having Hasselbeck for a couple of seasons until Locker proves that he’s ready to lead the teams offense.

Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times reports that Seahawks would like to keep Hasselbeck but the growing interest in going to make that easier said than done. Anyone of Arizona, San Francisco, Tennessee and Miami could sign Hasselbeck so there is plenty of competition.
