Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Titans QB Marcus Mariota, who has been considered a game-time decision due to hamstring, is not expected to play against the Dolphins in Week 5.

This, of course, means that the Titans will start Matt Cassel at quarterback on Sunday.

Mariota, 23, is a former No. 2 overall pick of the Titans back in 2015.  He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $24.214 million rookie contract that’s fully guaranteed and is set to make a base salary of $2,636,270 to go along with another $3,736,905 next year.

In 2017, Mariota has appeared in four games and thrown for 792 yards while completing 60 percent of his passes to go along with three touchdowns and three interceptions. He has also rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 20 quarterback out of 32 qualifying players.
