Titans Releasing OLB Vic Beasley

According to Jim Wyatt, the Titans have informed OLB Vic Beasley that they are releasing him on Wednesday.

Tennessee also cut veteran CB Johnathan Joseph and LS Beau Brinkley on Tuesday.

Beasley, 27, is a former first-round pick of the Falcons back in 2015. He played out the final year of his four-year, $14.5 million contract but the Falcons picked up his fifth-year option worth $14,200,000 for the 2019 season.

The Titans signed Beasley to a one-year contract worth up to $12 million this offseason which included a $6 million signing bonus and $3.5 million guaranteed. He was placed on the non-football injury list back in August and was activated coming out of training camp.

In 2020, Beasley has appeared in five games and recorded three total tackles, one tackle for loss, no sacks, and one forced fumble.
