Titans Sign S Michael Griffin To A Long-Term Extension

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Griffin receives a five year deal worth $35 million and includes $15 million guaranteed.

The Tennessee Titans have announced that they’ve agreed to a long-term contract with S Michael Griffin.

Pro Football Talk reports that the deal is a five-year agreement worth close to $7 million per season.

The Titans wound up franchising Griffin months ago, but they obviously felt that he was worth committing to in the long-run. Griffin has been selected to two Pro Bowls and has yet to miss an NFL game during his career with the team. Pro Football Focus rated him as the #13 best safety in the league last season.
