The Tennessee Titans announced Friday that they’ve signed decorated wrestler Adam Coon to a contract with the intention of having him play offensive line in the NFL.

The Titans also waived OT Anthony McKinney with an injury designation. Should he clear waivers on Monday, he would revert to the Titans’ injured reserve list.

Coon was a three-time NCAA All-American wrestler at Michigan and posted a record of 116-15 record during his college career.

Coon earned a spot on the men’s Olympic wrestling team earlier this year. However, he failed to qualify for the 2021 Olympic Games through the World Olympic Qualifier last month.
