The Tennessee Titans are placing QBย Alex Tanney on waivers Monday, according to Terry McCormick.
- Jason Wolf adds that the Titans are also waivingย RB Khalfani Muhammad and DL Johnny Maxie.
Tanney said goodbye to the Titans on Twitter, implying he’s been released.

Tanney, 30,ย originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Monmouth back in 2012. Since then, heโs had brief stints with the Cowboys, Browns, Buccaneers, Titans, Bills and Colts before being signed to the Titansโ active roster at end of the 2015 season.
Tanney spent time on the Titans’ practice squad before eventuallyย being called up.
In 2015, Tanney appeared in one game for the Titans and completed 10 of 14 pass attempts for 99 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.
