Tanney, 30, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Monmouth back in 2012. Since then, he’s had brief stints with the Cowboys, Browns, Buccaneers, Titans, Bills and Colts before being signed to the Titans’ active roster at end of the 2015 season.
Tanney spent time on the Titans’ practice squad before eventually being called up.
In 2015, Tanney appeared in one game for the Titans and completed 10 of 14 pass attempts for 99 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.
