Titans Worked Out 5 Players Including DE Howard Jones

According to Paul Kuharsky, the Titans brought in five free agents for workouts on Tuesday.

The full list includes:

• DE Howard Jones
• DE Praise Martin-Oguike
• LB Frank Beltre
• LB Ken Ekanem
• LB Tony Washington

This is the second tryout for Jones in the past few days after he met with the Jets.

Jones, 27, originally signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Shepherd back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in Pittsburgh before he was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Buccaneers’ practice squad.

Tampa Bay declined to tender him a contract an exclusive rights offer this past February which allowed him to test the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Jones appeared in eight games for the Buccaneers and recorded three tackles and fumble a recovery.
