Titans WR A.J. Brown Could End Up Missing More Time With “Pretty Significant” Knee Bruise

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Titans WR A.J. Brown is dealing with a “pretty significant knee bruise” that hasn’t responded as well or as quickly to treatment as the team had hoped.

According to Schefter, Brown could end up missing more time than the Titans believed due to the slow-healing nature of his knee bruise.

Tennessee opted not to place Brown on injured reserve, which would have cost him at least three weeks before he could have been activated.

It will be interesting to see if the Titans opt to continue carrying Brown on their active roster.

Brown, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Titans back in 2019. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $5,506,368 rookie contract including a $2,130,812 signing bonus.

In 2020, Brown has been limited to appearing in just one game and catching five passes for 39 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
