Tom Brady’s new deal

Tom Brady is looking for a new deal because of his impending free agency at the end of this season but that idea hasn’t been met with the same urgency by New England management. This really shouldn’t be all that surprising given that Patriots aren’t known to quickly lock up star players.

The Rams recent signing of Sam Bradford will certainly be used a benchmark for Brady’s new deal which could attempt to reach $50 million guaranteed money.

The Boston Herald reported that Brady and Pats owner Robert Kraft played golf together this weekend and discussed the star QB’s future with the team. Without knowing the specifics of the discussion, it does suggest that the Patriots are willing to work with Tom on a new deal. It would still be surprisingly to see Brady playing for a team other the Patriots.
