TRADE: Cardinals Trading S Rudy Ford To Eagles For DT Bruce Hector

According to Ian Rapoport, the Cardinals have traded S Rudy Ford to the Eagles for DT Bruce Hector

Ford, 24, was selected in the sixth round out of Auburn in 2017 by the Cardinals. He’s entering the third year of his four-year, $2.54 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $645,000.

In 2018, Ford appeared in 13 games for the Cardinals and recorded nine tackles and no interceptions.

Hector, 24, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

Hector bounced on and off of the Eagles’ roster in 2018 before landing on the active roster at the end of the year.

In 2018, Hector played in eight games and recorded two tackles and half a sack.
