Trade Details: 49ers Trade Up To Select Arizona State WR Brandon Aiyuk

The 49ers agreed to a trade with the Vikings to move up and select Arizona State WR Brandon Aiyuk in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Here’s the trade breakdown:

49ers

  • Arizona State WR Brandon Aiyuk

Vikings

  • No. 31
  • No. 117
  • No. 176

Aiyuk, 22, is seen as one of the better receivers in a deep 2020 class and could be as high as a first or second-round pick in the coming draft.

NFL Media’s Lance Zierlein compares him to Rams WR Robert Woods in his scouting report.

Earlier this month, Aiyuk had core muscle surgery to fix an issue that had been lingering for the past few months. He had to withdraw from the Senior Bowl but was able to participate in some drills at the NFL Scouting Combine, including running a 4.50 40-yard dash time. (NFLTR)

During his two-year college career, Aiyuk caught 98 passes for 1,666 yards and 11 touchdowns in 25 games.
