Trade Details: Steelers Trade Up For Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph

Here’s the break down for the Steelers‘ trade with the Seahawks to select Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph.

Steelers

  • Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph, No. 76 overall pick.

Seahawks

  • No. 79 overall pick (third-round).
  • No. 220 overall pick (seventh-round).

Rudolph, 22, spent four seasons at Oklahoma State. There was some buzz that he could be a first-round pick, but became one of the the best available quarterback prospects entering round three.

During his four-year college career at Oklahoma State, Rudolph threw for 13,618 yards while completing 63.2 percent of his passes to go along with 92 touchdowns and 26 interceptions over the course of 42 games.

We actually had the Chargers taking Rudolph in our updated Second Round Mock Draft.
