Ian Rapoport reports that the Panthers are trading a 2028 sixth-round pick to the Chargers for DT TeRah Edwards.
Edwards, 25, is from Groveport, Ohio, and signed a futures deal with the Chargers for the 2026 season.
He attended Northwestern and Illinois before going undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft.
In four college seasons, Edwards appeared in 44 games and made 67 tackles and four sacks.
