Trade Rumors: Bengals, Jets, Texans

  • Albert Breer of the Bengals are willing to listen to trade offers for veteran players leading up to the deadline.
  • According to Breer, WR John Ross has been available well before his agent made a trade request.
  • Breer says Bengals DE Carlos Dunlap is a player to keep an eye on as teams have earmarked him as being available.

  • Albert Breer of reports that the Jets have let teams know they’re ready to trade, but the question is whether they have players with enough value for teams to part with draft capital.
  • Breer mentions WR Jamison Crowder and OL George Fant as two players for the Jets who may have at least some value.
  • Even so, Breer fully expects New York to listen to any and all trade offers over the next few weeks.

  • A number of Texans players have been tossed out as speculative trade candidates in recent weeks, particularly wide receivers Kenny Stills, Will Fuller, Brandin Cooks and Randall Cobb.
  • Although, Albert Breer’s sense is that Houston will wait to see what happens in Sunday’s game against the Packers before deciding to possibly offload veteran players.
  • Breer mentions that Stills and Fuller are obvious candidates, given that they’re in the final year of their current deals while Cobb and Cooks may have some value to teams, as they have “relatively manageable” contract figures.
