Veteran OL Mike Pollak Retiring From NFL

Jordan Raanan of NJ.com has been told that former Bengals and Colts OL Mike Pollak is retiring from the NFL.

Pollak, 30, signed a three-year, $5 million contract with the Bengals last year, but was released this past February in a move that cleared $1,108,332 in available cap space for Cincinnati.

Despite being among the best available offensive linemen, Pollak didn’t find any reported interest this offseason.

Last year, Pollak appeared in 14 games for the Bengals and played a total of 450 snaps. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 19 guard out of 78 qualifying players.

We had Pollak listed as the No. 5 player in our Top 25 Best Available Free Agents list.
