The Minnesota Vikings announced Saturday that they’ve promoted CB Tae Hayes, CB Cordrea Tankersley and DE Eddie Yarbrough to their active roster.
Tankersley, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2017. He signed a four-year, $3.17 million rookie contract and was set to make a base salary of $673,000 for the 2020 season when he was waived.
The Dolphins placed Tankersley on the PUP list coming out of the preseason last year with a knee injury and later declined to activate him from the list. Miami ultimately waived him in July but re-signed him to their practice squad this past September.
The Vikings signed Tankersley to their practice squad.
In 2020, Tankersley has appeared in one game for the Vikings and recorded one tackle.
