Vikings Sign WR Tavarres King

The Minnesota Vikings announced Thursday that they’ve signed former Giants WR Tavarres King to a contract.

King, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He lasted less than a year in Denver before he was claimed off of waivers by the Panthers.

After brief stints with the Jaguars and Buccaneers, the Giants signed him to their practice squad during the 2015 season and he spent the past few years in New York.

King was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2017, King appeared in eight games for the Giants and caught 18 passes for 240 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
