Vikings Trade For Raiders DT P.J. Hall Falls Through After He Fails Physical

The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday that DT P.J. Hall failed his physical and has reverted back to the Raiders.

The Vikings also activated S Brian Cole II and WR Justin Jefferson from the Reserve/COVID-19 list and placed DT Armon Watts on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Raiders were reportedly waiving Hall on Tuesday before the Vikings agreed to trade a conditional seventh-round pick for him. It would not be surprising to see the Raiders waive Hall in the coming days.

Minnesota could still use some depth at defensive tackle after Michael Pierce opt-out last week.

Hall, 25, was selected in the second round of by the Raiders out of Sam Houston State in 2018. According to OverTheCap.com, he received a four-year, $4,713,470 contract that included a $1,507,976 signing bonus.

In 2019, Hall appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded 26 total tackles, five tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
