It’s been interesting to see how the Randy Moss trade has impacted the NFL but it appears that it could directly impact Vikings WR Bernard Berrian and his future with the team.
Despite getting an increased amount of playing because of the injury to Sidney Rice, Berrian is still struggling to produce in the Vikings offense. Tom Peliserro of ESPN 1500 reports that Berrian expressed his frustration with his performance this season after Friday’s practice.
When you take into consideration that the Vikings have Randy Moss, Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice at receiver, there seems to be a very limited amount of balls for other receivers. The team could make Berrian available and gauge the trade market in the coming days to see if anyone is willing to part with anything in return for Berrian.
