Washington Claims DE Casey Toohill Waivers From Eagles

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that Washington has claimed DE Casey Toohill off of waivers from the Eagles on Wednesday.

Toohill, 24, was selected with the No. 233 overall pick in the seventh round of this year’s draft by the Eagles. He later signed a four-year, $3.4 million contract.

However, Philadelphia opted to place Toohill on waivers Tuesday.

In 2020, Toohill has been active for one game, but has yet to record a statistic.
