The XFL informed employees on Friday that the league is suspending operations and all employees have been laid off, according to Field Yates.

- According to Mike Garafolo, employees are being paid through Sunday, but it “could be curtains” after that. Garafolo adds that there was no discussion of when the league could be restarted.
- Neil Stratton spoke to three members of XFL front offices who said the league is no more.
- Konnor Fulk reports that XFL President Jeffrey Pollack read a statement on the conference call to employees and did not take questions. In total, the call lasted 10 minutes.
The XFL made it eight games before announcing on March 12 that they were suspending the remainder of the season.
