The Chicago Bears haveย promoted DB Demontre Hurst to their active roster on Tuesday, according to Brad Biggs.
The Bearsย announced that they’ve waived DBย Jacoby Glenn to make room for Hurst.
Hurst, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Oklahoma back in 2013 before signing on with the Bears. Hurst was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseasonย but has been on and off of their practice squad the past three seasons.
Hurst was in the final year of his two-year, $1.110 million contractย when the Bears waived him coming out of the preseason.ย He’s been on and off of their active roster this season.
In 2016, Hurst has appeared in one game for the Bears but has yet to record a statistic.
