The Buffalo Bills announced Friday that they’ve signed WR Walter Powell to their practice squad and waived OT Chris Martin to make room for him.

The Bills practice squad now consists of:
- WR Walter Powell
- RB Mike Gillislee
- WR Titus Davisย
- DE Cedric Reed
- TE Nick O’Leary
- DB Merrill Noel
- LB Kevin Reddickย (Exception)
- G Cyril Richardsonย (Exception)
- WR Dez Lewis
- CB Jaylen Watkins
Powell, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the Cardinals back in May of last year. He was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but he wound up being claimed off of waivers by the Jets.
Powell was among the Jets’ final roster cuts, but was later added to their practice squad at the start of the season. He brieflyย joined the Bills a fewย weeks ago before signing to the Raiders’ active roster.
In 2014, Powell appeared in four games and totaled 233 kick return yards and 48 punt return yards for the Jets.
