Bears Sign LB Danny Trevathan To A Four-Year Deal Worth Close To $28M

Adam Schefter reports that the Bears are signing former Broncos LB Danny Trevathan.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that the Bears have signed Trevathan on a 4-year deal worth roughly $28M.

Trevathan, 25, was taken in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Broncos. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $2,204,072 rookie contract.

In 2015, Trevathan appeared in 15 games for the Broncos and recorded 110 tackles, no sacks, two interceptions with one of them being returned for a touchdown and six pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 6 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players.
