Cardinals Place WR Jaron Brown On Injured Reserve

The Arizona Cardinals announced that they’ve officially placed WR Jaron Brown on injured reserve Tuesday with an ACL tear.

  • The Cardinals also signed WR Chris Hubert to their practice squad and waived OT Martin Wallace from the unit.

Brown, 26, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in 2013. He played out his rookie contract before returning to the Cardinals on a one-year restricted tender worth $1.671 million back in April.

In 2016, Brown appeared in seven games and caught 11 passes for 187 yards receiving and one touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 57 receiver out of 108 qualifying players.
