The Dallas Cowboys officially signed DT Shelby Harris to their practice squad on Thursday.
The Cowboys’ practice squad now consists of:
- TE Rico Gathers
- WR Andy Jones
- QB Jameill Showers
- LB Jeremiah George
- DB Sammy Seamster
- G Ryan Seymour
- CB Leon McFadden
- G Kadeem Edwards
- G Clay DeBord
- DT Shelby Harris
Harris, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Raiders back in 2014. He’s been on an off of their practice squad over the past two years but returned to the Raiders on a one-year, exclusive rights deal in April.
Unfortunately, the Raiders waived Harris back in May to make room for undrafted rookies. Harris later signed on with the Jets in July but was among their early roster cuts during the preseason.
He worked out for the Seahawks, Lions and Titans since becoming a free agent.
In 2015, Harris appeared in seven games and recorded 12 tackles and a sack for the Raiders
