Giants Release LB Ray-Ray Armstrong From Injured Reserve

The New York Giants officially released LB Ray-Ray Armstrong from injured reserve on Tuesday.

Armstrong, 27, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2013. He lasted just over a year with the Rams before he was waived and later claimed by the Raiders in 2014.

After three years with the 49ers, Armstrong was waived later claimed by the Giants in November of last year. Unfortunately, the Giants placed him on injured reserve a few weeks ago.

In 2018, Armstrong appeared in six games for the Giants and recorded 20 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
