NFL Draft Rumors: Thursday 5/8

 

Here’s a running list of reports from Thursday regarding prospects visits, workouts and rumors:

2014 NFL Mock Draft

  • There is still a chance that the Texans could trade out of No. 1 overall as trade talks are expected to once Houston is on the clock. (NFLTR)
  • The Vikings could be the team to watch for QB Johnny Manziel. (Adam Schefter)
  • FSU DT Timmy Jernigan could be an option for the Bears at No. 14 overall. (Adam Schefter)
  • Names to keep an eye on for the Cowboys include: Anthony Barr, Aaron Donald, Zack Martin, Ryan Shazier, C.J Mosley, Odell Beckham Jr. (Todd Archer)
  • North Carolina TE Eric Ebron was a name to keep on eye on tonight for the Steelers. (NFLTR)
  • UCLA OLB Anthony Barr could be a contingency option for the Lions in the event that they don’t trade up for Clemson WR Sammy Watkins. (NFLTR)
  • Jets could target a defensive player in the first round of the draft. (NFLTR)
  • The Raiders would not think twice about grabbing Mike Evans at No. 5.” (NFLTR)

  • NFL GMs expect the Packers to take either Alabama LB C.J. Mosely or Ohio State LB Ryan Shazier. (NFLTR)
  • There is a chance that the Packers could trade back and take a center like Colorado State’s Weston Richburg. (NFLTR)
