Free Agent CB Alan Ball Leaves Visit With Panthers Without Agreement

Aaron Wilson is now reporting that the Panthers have not signed CB Alan Ball as of now, and he’s still weighing other offers from NFL teams.

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Panthers have signed CBĀ Alan Ball to a one-year contract worthĀ $2 million.

  • According to Wilson, the contract includes a $1 million signing bonus to go along with $950,000 base salary.
  • Ball also will receiveĀ a $50,000 workout bonus.

Ball, 29, was limited to appearing just seven games for the Jaguars last year after he sustained a bicep injury that led to him being placed on season-ending injured reserve.

In 2014, he recorded 22 tackles, one interception and three pass defenses for the Jaguars.Ā Pro Football FocusĀ has him rated as the N0. 40 cornerback out of 108Ā qualifying players.
