Ravens Sign DB Bennett Jackson To P-Squad, Release RB Mark Thompson

The Baltimore Ravens announced Tuesday that they’ve released RB Mark Thompson from their practice squad and signed DB Bennett Jackson to the unit.

Here’s the Ravens updated practice squad:

  1. G Nico Siragusa
  2. TE Darren Waller
  3. RB Christopher Ezeala (International)
  4. WR Janarion Grant
  5. DB Robertson Daniel
  6. WR Tim White
  7. OT Randin Crecelius
  8. LB Alvin Jones
  9. G Kofi Amichia
  10. RB Tyler Ervin
  11. DB Bennett Jackson

Jackson, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Giants back in 2014. He was unable to make the 53-man roster during his rookie year but later signed on to their practice squad.

Jackson spent over two years in New York before he was waived at the start of the 2016 season. The Ravens later signed Jackson to a futures contract this past January, but he was placed on injured reserve coming out of the preseason. Baltimore later waived Jackson with an injury settlement.

Jackson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
