According to OverTheCap.com, releasing these players will free up $1.53 million in available cap space while creating no dead money for the Texans.
Aubrey, 24, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Stephen F. Austin back in April of 2013. He briefly played for the Seahawks before signing to the Texans practice squad in September of last year.
Aubrey appeared in two games last season, but didnโt record a single statistic.
Browner, 27, also signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of California following the 2012 NFL draft. He appeared in two games Houston last year.
