Peter King of MMQB reports the Carson proposal “seems to have more momentum” than Stan Kroenke’s plan to move the Rams to a stadium that would be built in Inglewood.
According to King, NFL owners want to support the Spanos family and the Chargers, given that they have done everything they can to get a new stadium in San Diego for years.
If a vote were to take place right now by the members of Committee on Los Angeles Opportunities, King reports that it would either end up 4-2 or 5-1 in favor of the Carson project.
In the end, King mentions that the committee is likely to side with Carson as long as the new St. Louis stadium is rock-solid when it comes time to vote.
