NFL Notes: Draft, Cardinals, Dolphins, & Packers

Draft

• Ohio State WR Braxton Miller appeared to have suffered an ankle/calf injury on Thursday, however he told reporters that it was just cramps.
• Tony Pauline believes Indiana OT Jason Spriggs has cemented himself as a late first-round pick.

Cardinals

• Mike Jurecki mentions that DL Calais Campbell could be a candidate for a contract extension, as his cap figure for the 2016 season is $15.2 million.

Dolphins

• Jason Cole reports that former Dolphins QB Dan Marino was at the Senior Bowl this week scouting quarterbacks.
• Cole mentions that Marino is becoming involved in the personnel side of the Dolphins and could work his way up to an executive with Miami.
• The team is reportedly really happy with Marino and his role with the franchise.
• New Dolphins DC Vance Joseph said he hopes to have veteran CB Brent Grimes back in 2016. (Adam Beasley)

Packers

• Pete Dougherty of PackersNews.com expects the Packers to re-sign K Mason Crosby, DT B.J. Raji, OLB Mike Neal, and RB James Starks out of their 14 unrestricted free agents.
• Some of the notable free agents Dougherty can see departing include: DL Letroy Guion, OLB Nick Perry, FB John Kuhn, CB Casey Hayward, WR James Jones, QB Scott Tolzien and TE Andrew Quarless.
