2020 Hall Of Fame Class

The Pro Football Hall of Fame officially elected five modern-era candidates to be part of the 2020 Hall of Fame class on Sunday. 

The new members include:

  • Steve Atwater, S – 1989-1998 Denver Broncos, 1999 New York Jets | (Times as a Semifinalist: 9 – 2012-2020)
  • Edgerrin James, RB – 1999-2005 Indianapolis Colts, 2006-08 Arizona Cardinals, 2009 Seattle Seahawks | (Times as a Semifinalist: 6 – 2015-2020)
  • Troy Polamalu, S – 2003-2014 Pittsburgh Steelers (Times as a Semifinalist: 1 – 2020)
  • Isaac Bruce, WR – 1994-2007 Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams, 2008-09 San Francisco 49ers | (Times as a Semifinalist: 6 – 2015-2020)
  • Steve Hutchinson, G – 2001-05 Seattle Seahawks, 2006-2011 Minnesota Vikings, 2012 Tennessee Titans | (Times as a Semifinalist: 3 – 2018-2020)

These five will join the 15 members of the 2020 Centennial Class:

  1. Bill Cowher – 1992-2006 Pittsburgh Steelers
  2. Jimmy Johnson – 1989-1993 Dallas Cowboys, 1996-99 Miami Dolphins
  3. Steve Sabol, Administrator/President – 1964-2012 NFL Films
  4. Harold Carmichael, WR – 1971-1983 Philadelphia Eagles, 1984 Dallas Cowboys
  5. Jim Covert, T – 1983-1990 Chicago Bears
  6. Winston Hill, T – 1963-1976 New York Jets, 1977 Los Angeles Rams
  7. Duke Slater, T – 1922 Milwaukee Badgers, 1922-25 Rock Island Independents, 1926-1931 Chicago Cardinals
  8. Ed Sprinkle, DE/LB/E – 1944-1955 Chicago Bears
  9. Alex Karras, DT – 1958-1962, 1964-1970 Detroit Lions
  10. Bobby Dillon, S – 1952-59 Green Bay Packers
  11. Donnie Shell, S – 1974-1987 Pittsburgh Steelers
  12. Paul Tagliabue, Commissioner – 1989-2006 National Football League
  13. George Young, Contributor/General Manager – 1968-1974 Baltimore Colts, 1975-78 Miami Dolphins, 1979-1997 New York Giants, 1998-2001 National Football League
  14. Cliff Harris, S – 1970-79 Dallas Cowboys
  15. Mac Speedie, E – 1946-1952 Cleveland Browns [AAFC/NFL]
